World famous resort with a rich skiing tradition

Klosters

FANTASTIC FOR INTERMEDIATE AND EXCELLENT FOR BEGINNERS

Klosters is a ski resort of great international significance that has managed to retain its village character and charm. Right next to Davos, the largest mountain resort in the Alps, these two resorts share a huge, well-marked and groomed piste network with superb skiing for all levels. There is much more than skiing in Klosters with activities such as tobogganing, snowshoe trekking, horse-riding, sleigh rides, night-skiing, a sports centre with artificial open-air ice rink with ice-skating and curling. The Klosters resort is split into 2 areas called Dorf and Platz. In Platz you'll find up-market hotels near the station with a lively ambience, while Dorf remains very quiet. Both areas have great alpine charm and an unassuming beauty that draws famous names from all over the world.

The Klosters/Davos Rega ski-pass will give you access to a wonderful 320 kilometres of runs, serviced by an extensive lift system of cable cars, chair lifts, railways and draglifts. One of the most favourite runs in the extensive Gotschna/Parsenn area is the descent from the Weissfluh to Kublis. The Madrisabahn Gondola opens up a further 50 kilometres of slopes offering an extensive area of skiing of intermediate level. Snowboarders will find ideal slopes on Gotschna and Madrisa, which is particularly well suited for beginners. Freeriders too, will find natural obstacles and richly diversified runs in the area between Switzerland and Austria. In addition, the Davos slopes complete the local offer with half-pipes and fun parks. There is also a bordercross-park on Madrisa.
