THE MOST VERTICAL DROP IN AMERICA
The Silver Star Ski Resort has a charming magic about it. The village area of the Silver Star Canada has quaint colourful buildings and the resort is a bit like a mini Disneyland for skiing and snowboarding. Combined with lots of child friendly amenities and activities, it's no wonder that Silver Star Ski Resort is a really popular choice for a family ski holiday.
You can easily fall in love with Silver Star's fairytale village. Inspired by a typical 19 century British Columbian mining town era with Victorian architecture, this town is a true winter wonderland. Brightly coloured store fronts and boarded sidewalks provide a unique ambiance that radiates fun, enthusiasm and excitement for the whole family.
There are 115 km of slopes available and 10 lifts transport the guests. The trail statistics are 15% beginner, 40% intermediate, 45% advanced, which aptly describes the spread of terrain. Strong intermediate riders in particular will love Silver Star for the many blue runs as well as some of the black runs, and the resort also caters very well to beginners. Putnam Creek on the backside of Silver Star has lots of terrain for advanced riders.
