THE MOST VERTICAL DROP IN AMERICA

Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a ski area located in British Columbia, just outside of the town of Revelstoke, which is continuing to transform itself into becoming on of the biggest and best resorts in Canada. The resort opened in  the season of 2007-08 and since have been known by cat skiers and heli skiers for the legendary Selkirk powder that falls in abundance.

Revelstoke is the only resort in the world offering lift, cat, heli and backcountry skiing from one village base. The resort is two and a half hours from Kelowna Airport and four and a half hours from Calgary, which is serviced by many national and international flights.

The terrain there is largely below the tree-line and consists of super long steep groomers, mellow groomed runs, moguls, glades, and tree skiing. Alpine bowl skiing is available in the North Bowl and a hike-to area above The Stoke chair. The main deal of the resort is for advanced riders, who have 45% of the runs, and those who want to progress to backcountry skiing.
