From Zürich to Arosa by car, take the A-11 autobahn from Zürich International Airport to Zürich city, drive through the city centre then follow the A-3/13 autobahn to Chur then the winding mountain road (365 bends) from Chur to Arosa. It takes about 2-2½ hours to complete the 100 mile (160kms) car journey from Zürich to Arosa and snow chains are important mid-Winter, not only for the journey up from Chur but also when driving in Arosa, which is hilly.
