The most prestigious ski resort in the famous Three Valleys

With a world renowned reputation for sophistication, high fashion, charm and not to mention the kms of awesome skiing on its doorstep, Courchevel has it all. It is therefore no wonder that this world class ski resort with its immaculate runs and stunning scenery, is considered to be the most prestigious in the Three Valleys, which has 200 ski lifts and 330 downhill runs with an accumulated length of 600 kilometres. Courchevel is not one but four separate villages at different altitudes, linked by the ski slopes and a quick and efficient free bus service.

Courchevel 1850 is the most international resort with a jet-set image and boasts a wide selection of fine hotels, designer boutiques, top class restaurants and a buzzing nightlife. Courchevel 1650 and 1550 are more down to earth, have their own facilities and still provide excellent access to the amazing ski area. The fourth resort is the gorgeous village of Le Praz that can be skied down to via the pistes from 1550. Resort attractions at 1850 include an ice rink; bowling alley; toboggan run; and classical concerts. At 1650 and 1850 guests will find hot air ballooning; hang-gliding; parapenting; snow shoeing; snowmobiling; scenic flights in light aircraft and helicopters; ice karting; ice climbing; cinemas; shops and banks; cafés, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Beginners will find plenty of gentle runs and nursery slopes flowing down from the Jardin Alpin and Verdons lifts into Courchevel 1850. Intermediates have a vast playground of challenging reds which will keep them entertained in Courcheval. For those wishing to explore this fantastic ski area even further, they can head to neighbouring Meribel or even Val Thorens to experience awesome well-groomed pistes. Experts have a world of opportunities to conquer from steep, speedy black runs to awe inspiring valleys; and for the ultimate challenge, head for the 'Ugly Sisters' trio.courchevel_polaroids

The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
