Non stop action on and off the slopes puts St. Anton head and shoulders above most other Austrian resorts

St. Anton is a unique ski area known for its world-class skiing, its hedonistic nightlife and its infamous name - the 'Cradle of Alpine skiing'. A traditional Alpine ski village, which has kept pace with the times, St. Anton combines the charm of Austrian hospitality with lively après-ski activities and some of the most beautiful ski runs in the Alps. Beginners and intermediates enjoy the open snowfields accessible by the Rendlbahn gondolas as well as comfortable trails among the Kapall and Galzig complexes.

The Galzig-Valluga cable cars carry skiers to the more challenging runs from the Vallugagrat to the village of St. Christoph, right next to the historic Arlberg Pass. This area is also noteworthy for its monastic settlement, dating back over 500 years. The Arlberg Ski Pass today gives the holder the use of over 80 ski lifts which together access the runs of St. Anton and its neighbours St. Christoph, Stuben, Klosterle and the exclusive resorts of Lech and Zurs, which are only a short bus ride away. The area is indeed vast and truly the 'skiers paradise' that many resorts claim to be but few actually deliver!

St. Anton also offers fantastic challenging off-piste runs available in the bowls below the Valluga, considered to be the best that Austria has to offer. Here, no two skiing days are ever the same. Snowboarders and freestylers love the fun park at Rendl which includes a half pipe 40 metres x 17 metres, 8-10 barriers, a pro-jump, two quarter pipes, washboard, table top, slide and a long jump.st_anton_polaroids

The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
