Excellent ski resort located in the spectacular Stubai Valley

Neustift and Mieders are located in the Stubai Valley, approximately 25 kilometres south of Innsbruck, the capital city of the Tyrol. The valley can be reached easily on the motorway A13 or without paying a toll fee on the national road B182 towards Italy - Exit 'Stubaital'. The Stubai Glacier in Neustift represents one of the most extensive all-year-round skiing areas in the Eastern Alps with over 100 kilometres of slopes and off-piste tracks to suit all grades of difficulty. There is also a 4.5 kilometre high-altitude cross country slope. You are guaranteed quality snow conditions from autumn right through to spring.

Many of the slopes are suited to families, marked in blue and red, however fans of more difficult tracks can concentrate on the recently open black runs, and powder freaks tend to head to several ski routes, neither tended nor patrolled, with such colourful names as 'The Wall', 'Fast Corner' or 'Steep Glacier Tongue'. The 10 kilometre 'Wilde Grub'n' trail is Austria's longest run from close to the top at 3150 metres to the base of a ski-resort at 1750 metres. The Stubai-Superski Ticket, which is available from December until April, consists of the local ski-bus system, two public indoor swimming pools and winter sport facilities. The ski schools have courses for snowboarding as well as a whole range of ski sports such as big foot, carving, alpine, telemark, skwal and cross country skiing. One mountaineering school also provides guided variations. 'Special interest days', ski touring for beginners, snowshoe-walking during the day or in the dark, introductory lessons for carvers and the 'freeriding day' for snowboarders, making an exciting difference to the average ski-school curricula.meiders_polaroids

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
