You'll find endless enjoyment on the ski slopes of Mayrhofen

Challenging, varied, diverse and entertaining. Mayrhofen guarantees perfect winter pleasure, with other like-minded individuals. The skiing area on the Penken offers every visitor a varied experience on the piste! From sunny and treeless summit slopes, wide carver areas and demanding steep north-facing slopes, and gorgous powder runs, everything is on offer here. A particular highlight is the descent on the 'Harakiri', Austria's steepest ski slope and is only suitable for advanced skiers. The fastest cable car boarding and shortest waiting times are offered by the Hobergbahn. The Ahornbahn, the largest shuttle cable car in Austria with room for 160 people, will take you up to the panoramic Ahorn plateau in just six and a half minutes. The Ahorn is a real insider's tip for beginners, newcomers and families, who will find ideal conditions on the gentle slopes around the 2,000 metre Ahorn plateau and more advanced skiers are also well catered for by the challenging 5.5 kilometre descent to Mayrhofen. For some unique Apres ski enjoy the newly built 'White Lounge' – an igloo bar made entirely from snow with comfortable seats inside, loungers and snow bar outside.

The Burton Park is located in Horberg-Hochtal in the Penken area and Snow-parks.com has voted it already for several years to be one of the best parks in Europe. It ahas also been an important factor in the Austrian freestyle scene for the last six years and you will find many Austrian and international pro's calling this park their home and can be regularly seen shredding here. Due to the parks southward facing slope it gets plenty of sunshine and softer landings in the late season. You'll also find the lifts run over the park, giving a perfect view of all the action. There are 8 kickers / hips, 16 boxes / rails and a halfpipe, making sure there is a jump and a jib for everyone.mayrhofen_polaroids

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
